Seeing the course that nature takes through the woods seems much like the trek a child might take, not a straight line of the easiest path, but a rambling one - hopping along the tops of larger rocks, stepping over fallen trees, stopping to inspect the waters of the deeper pools, finding a smooth stone, and lifting a broken branch for a walking stick or perhaps a spear to fend off any wild beasts...
